I've been blog quiet for a while now. The last time I posted was about my goals, and let me tell you - I think God was snickering at me when I wrote that post. Little did I know how sick my family would get, specifically Zachary. But I am happy to say that two weeks later and many scary nights with the little guy, we are all finally healthy! (Well - minus my sniffles. Hope I'm not getting a cold!) I'm grateful for - in the midst of some tough viruses - that we had to stop, cancel plans, and be at home. Definitely not the way I would have planned to have a quiet couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, but maybe for me that's what it takes to slow down!
We are home from a few days away at Grandma's and I'm using today to unpack, catch up on laundry, and do some grocery shopping. (Our cupboards are bare!) Back to school and routine tomorrow.
I'm super excited that tomorrow starts Good Morning Girl's Advent study. This study looks fantastic! It includes a schedule for daily time in the Word for me, but also family advent activities/studies. I'm getting it printed and spiral bound at FedEx this morning so we're ready to go tomorrow morning.
