and the job hunt begins

While we're still trying to dry our tears that keep surfacing again and again, there's that sense of we've got to put one foot in front of the other.  I don't want to look for a new job.  This is what I'd prayed about for over 6 years.  God must have something different and better, right?  
So we touch up the resume, and pray.  We talk to friends who want to help us look for a job, and pray.  We plan to continue to attend our church, and pray.  We pay the bills, and pray.  

The Word of the Lord stands forever.  God stands forever.  We cling to the truths of God's Word and trust.  We wait - believing.  The hurt will be there for a long time.  But I know He brings us through to the other side.  Stronger.  Better.  More like Christ.
