i'm going!

The plane tickets are purchased, hotel room reserved, and there's no turning back now.  I'm headed to The Declare Conference in just a few short weeks!  Something has been stirring in my heart for some time now and when Hello Mornings posted a giveaway to the conference I entered right away.  The scary part is I had a gut feeling deep in me that God wanted me to go.  I had a gut feeling that I would win the contest.  So much so that I was tempted to take my name out of the running.  "I can't go, what was I thinking?" flooded my mind and so I began to pray that I wouldn't win - if that's what God wanted.  Sure enough a few days later I woke up to a tweet congratulating me.  I had won a conference ticket!  God's plans seem to be bigger than little old me and my introvert fears.  I have a heart for something new and different and I guess God really does want me to share these ideas with others.  I can't wait to sit in sessions learning from some of the best out there!

I've cleared my schedule that weekend and will jump on a plane.  An adventure I'm scared to go on but super excited about at the same time.  I get to meet online friends I've gotten to know through their blogs, comment sections, and facebook notes.  I also can't wait to meet & hug my fellow Hello Mornings gals!

So here I go...not sure what to expect but excited and open!
