We LOVE to cook Chinese food in our family. We actually like to cook more traditional Chinese food than this one, but I found this in a stir-fry book I received when we were married almost 14 years ago & it is so quick and yummy and cheap! And all the kids love it.
Oriental Beef & Noodle Toss
1 lb ground beef
2 pkgs Oriental ramen noodles
2 C water
2 C frozen stir fry vegetables
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1. In a large skillet brown the beef. Remove beef and put into a bowl. Season beef with one seasoning packet from the noodles; set aside.
2. In same skillet, combine water, frozen vegetables, noodes (broken into pieces), ginger and remaining seasoning packed. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 3 minutes until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
3. Return beef to skillet; heat through.
