He holds his own bottle, folks!

I cannot begin to tell you the joy these pictures bring to me.  Zachary.  Holding his own bottle.  WHAT?!  For my little guy this is huge.  His therapist has tried about everything to get him to hold his bottle for over a year now.  Everything.  But today evidently was the day he took matters into his own hands...well, bottle into his own hands!  Ha!  I know usually it's a sad thing for a baby to get independent and hold their own bottle, but I've been holding it for almost 2 years.  I'm just so proud of him.  When he reached for his bottle and put it to his mouth tonight again, the tears wanted to come.  I wanted to shout from the rooftops "PRAISE GOD!" This is nothing short of a miracle.  We have way bigger milestones than holding a bottle to overcome.  But today I'm filled with hope.  I'm hoping and praying that Zachary will learn to put weight on his legs and stand. Believing God can do what seems impossible!

  1. This brought tears to my eyes. I was so excited to read your comment on the blog yesterday that I wanted to be sure I had sufficient time to leave a comment for you over here. He is just precious- God is doing GREAT and MIGHTY things through His life. Never forget that- He is designed by an almighty God. Much love to you and yours!
